Jon received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a surgical residency in Michigan with advanced fellowships in Detroit, Baltimore, and Seattle for foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, Sports Medicine and pediatrics. Jon is board qualified in all areas foot and ankle surgery, including reconstruction.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys cycling, triathlons, fishing, dirt-biking, hunting and the outdoor life Sandpoint and the surrounding areas have to offer with his black lab, Lucy.
